    About the Editor :
    Prof. (Dr.) Raghvendra Kumar Singh (b. 1959) is a University Professor in the University Department of Rural Economics and Cooperation and Director, Centre for Regional Studies, T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur (Bihar). Further, he was Principal, R.S. College, Tarapur—A Constituent Unit of T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur (Bihar). He has successfully guided seven Ph.D. research programme. Over thirty research papers have been published in various regional, national journals and have edited a number of books. He has served as an office bearer of Bhagalpur University Teacher’s Association (BHUTA) and still continue to do the same. He is also associated with institutions and organization working in the field of social sector. Dr. Singh is also actively engaged in pursuing the academic programme of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). A life member of Indian Economic Association (IEA), Economic Association of Bihar (EAB) and other professional bodies. Presently, he is the Chief Editor of Journal of Regional Studies (ISSN 0972-8414) published by Centre for Regional Studies, a reputed journal of the T.M. Bhagalpur University, since 1978.
