    About the Editors

    Prof. (Dr.) Ipseeta Satpathy, Senior Professor has over 25 years of experience in teaching, research and administration with KSOM, KIIT Deemed to be University. She is an alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She has authored five textbooks and one edited book, “Economic Growth in India,” published by Shandilya Publications. Dr. Satpathy has also published more than 300 research papers out of which more than 190 are in the Scopus indexed journals. Prof. Satpathy is a former visiting Professor at Lynchburg College, Virginia, USA, and has attended/presented research papers at several international conferences.

    Under Dr. Satpathy’s guidance, 28 research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degrees by KIIT Deemed to be University. Dr. Satpathy has been awarded with the prestigious Oxford Journal Distinguished Research Professor Award 2014, Cambridge University, London. Dr. Satpathy was invited by the Charlton Business School, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, USA and Southampton University, UK as a resource person. Dr. Ipseeta Satpathy was felicitated with the Times Power Women Award 2023, by the Times of India Group as an eminent academician producing and upskilling quality professionals for today’s workforce.

    Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek Kumar is working as a Professor with KIIT School of Management, KIIT Deemed to be University, An Institute of Eminence, Bhubaneswar (Odisha). Prof. Kumar has about 21 years of varied experience in industry, academia and research. He has 77 publications in National and International journals to his credit in the Scopus, Web of Science and ABDC indexed journals and has authored 18 books in the areas of Management, Economics and Monetary Policies. 12 Research Scholars have been awarded the Ph.D. degree under his able and dynamic supervision. It is worth mention here that Dr. Kumar has also supervised 1 Post-Doctoral fellow in the KSOM under the aegis of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR, Ministry of HRD).

    KIIT University has acknowledged the outstanding performance of Dr. Kumar and awarded him with Gold Medal for the ‘Best Faculty for the academic year 2018-19’, by none other than the Founder of KIIT & KISS himself, Honourable Dr. Achyuta Samanta.

    He has also been awarded with the coveted ‘Kautilya Arthashastra Award’ by the Economic Association of Bihar for outstanding contribution in the field of Economics in 2016. Prof. Kumar has also been appointed as an Associate Editor of the Indian Economic Journal, SAGE Publications in the year 2019.
