    About the Book

Financial inclusion stems out from inclusive growth which means connecting all individuals mainly those who belong to marginalised groups and have been not included in the main stream of financial system. Financial inclusion not only broadens the resource base of the financial system by including those living in the remotest of rural areas having no easy access to bank account for safe sparking of savings. Further, by bringing low income groups within in perimeter of formal banking sector, financial inclusion protects there, financial wealth and other resources in exigent circumstances. Financial inclusion also mitigates the exploitation of vulnerable sections by the usurious money lenders by facilitating access to formal rural areas.

All the dynamics of financial inclusion have been discussed in detail in this book by the various learned scholars. In the present book the author has tried to stride hard to compile the various papers on financial inclusion in India context in systematic way. What paper contributors have given their discerning views, is being summarised with flashing spot light in brief.
