    About the Editor :
    Dr. Nitu Nawal, is dean of the School of Legal Studies & Governance, Career Point University, Kota. She is a Member of the Juvenile Justice Board, Bundi (Rajasthan). She has a brilliant academic career. She is a gold medalist, had got 7th rank in the merit list in class 12th, awarded from Jhunjhunu Dist. Collector in 1994, Governor of Rajasthan in 1994, and Gold Medal from Ajmer Board in 1994. She obtained B.A. Degree in 1997 and M.A. (Political Science) Degree in the year 1999 from Rajasthan University, LL.B. Degree from University of Kota, Kota (Rajasthan), in the year 2004, and secured 2nd position, LL.M. (Torts and Crime) degree from same University in the year 2006 respectively. She joined the Ph.D. Programme and earned a Doctorate in Law from the University of Kota, Kota in 2011. She has also done PGDLL from VMOU in the year 2012, secured the first position in University, and got Gold Medal for this achievement. She has a degree of (CLAW) “Certificate in Legal Awareness for Women” from VMOU, Kota in 2013.

    Dr. Nawal has contributed to several articles and research papers on various socio-legal aspects, which have been published in leading journals, papers, and also in legal publications. She has also organised and participated in several international and national level seminars, conferences, symposiums, and workshops. She has earned many awards, medals, trophies and certificates from academic, social and administrative institutions for her outstanding performance and contribution in academic as well as social areas.

    Dr. Nawal is the author of three books, first is, “Domestic Violence Against Women: Legal Protection, Legislative and Judicial Aspects”, 2013 and second is “Human Right and Women Justice, International and National Perspectives”, 2015, and third is “Human Rights and the Law”, 2017. She is actively involved in research activities including research supervision at the Masters and Ph.D. level and a recognized guide for Ph.D. Degree of Career Point University, Kota (Rajasthan).

    Dr. Nawal is associated with many social institutions for doing social work specially getting legal and social awareness in society. Dr. Nitu Nawal is president of government registered NGO named “Muskaan Welfare Society, Rajasthan” with the object of doing help and support to poor, needy, helpless people and spread awareness for education. This NGO strives to bring shine a light in the darkness of needed people and all activities have a motto of bringing ‘Muskaan’ on needed faces with the help of any manner. She is actively involved in conducting the training programmes for society specially for women, children, poor, and needy people for their empowerment and skill development.
