About the Editors
Dr. M. Dillip Anand is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Presidency College, Chennai (T.N.). A distinguished scholar in Development Economics, he holds an impressive array of academic qualifications, including an M.A., M.Phil., PGDCA and a Ph.D. in Economics. With over 11 years of experience in teaching and research. Dr. Anand has developed specialized expertise across diverse fields, including the Indian Economy, Health Economics, Environmental Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Managerial Economics, International Economics, Economic Statistics, and Monetary Economics.
His scholarly contributions are extensive, with more than 52 articles published in reputable National and International journals. Beyond the classroom, he has been an active participant in the academic community, presenting at National and International conferences at prestigious Colleges, Universities, and IITs throughout India. Dr. Anand holds several leadership and life membership positions, serving as a Life Member of the Indian Economic Association, an Executive Member for Tamil Nadu in the Association of Economists of Tamil Nadu (AET), and an Executive Member of the Indian Economics & Allied Sciences Association (IEASA). Additionally, he contributes to the field as an Associate Editor for special editions of the Indian Economic Journal. In recognition of his academic excellence and dedication, he was honoured with the Best Young Faculty Award in 2022.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Post Graduate Department of Labour and Social Work (L.S.W.) at Magadh University (M.U.) in Bodh Gaya (Bihar). His academic contributions and research focus primarily on social welfare, labour studies and the intersection of these fields with broader socio-economic issues. Dr. Kumar is known for his dedication to advancing the understanding of labour dynamics and social welfare policies, particularly in the context of Indian society. His work often emphasizes the importance of sustainable development, empowerment, and inclusive growth. Through his teaching and research, Dr. Kumar continues to inspire students and contribute significantly to the academic community.
